Trump: A-Rod "Can't Perform Without Drugs"

Alex Rodriguez does poorly in the playoffs...that's what he does.

That said, fans are calling for New York Yankees manager Joe Girardi to move the struggling slugger down in the batting order.

"I trust our guys...I'm with them every day," the skipper said when asked about moving A-Rod.  "Nothing that we do will be something that is just a knee-jerk reaction."

But, when you consider that the three-time MVP is in the midst of a 1-for-9 postseason so far and hasn't hit a postseason homer in his last 87 plate appearances...the critics might be on to something.

One of the most critical, "Johnny New York" himself...Donald Trump.

Now, I'm not sure what Trump knows about baseball, steroids or, well, sports for that matter considering he ran the USFL into the ground and, just last year, allowed Jose Canseco to join the cast of  "The Apprentice", but dude sure isn't afraid of letting everyone know his opinion.

Who is Donald Trump to talk, has he ever played baseball? I doubt serio0usly if he has ever played any sport other than maybe Tiddly Winds. Now I know nothing about sports and haven't been involved in any sporting event sinch high school whish was too long ago to remember much. I am not an expert on any sport, but I do know hot air when I encounter it in print;
Donald better mpt stand too close to any flameable substand or he might hurt himself.

Is it possible Trump is a bigger A-hole than previously thought?

i totally agree. im a die hard yankee fan, and ever since a-rod admitted taking the roids and stopped taking them, he seems to have warning track power, if he even makes contact at all.

Not a Yankee fan but I am an A-Rod fan. I agree with all previous comments. Right on.

forget who said arod needs to be moved down in the lineup, all Yankee fans know it's the right thing to do.he always disappoints in post season.glad Joe finally showed balls last night and pinch hit for him.
Did you miss a rod last night at third?

Trump is right and most of us who do follow baseball know that when athletes come OFF steroids, they lose power and batspeed! Ask Manny, Rafael Palmero, Eric Gagne! All great until they got caught!

A-Rod is the Biggest Disappointment in Yankee History. I am a Yankee fan and Face it, he has not pulled through as he should. I think that when is all said and done, we will find out that he did the Juice much longer that he says that he did. He should be batting somewhere between 6-8 and that's it. Not only A-Rod though, what is with Texiera. I have coached kids before that if they saw an opening on the field they would hit to that spot to get a hit for the team. HE REFUSES to even try.

I'm a die hard New England fan. Definately don't move A-Rod
in the line- up. And you can say what you want about Trump but he' s echoing what many are thinking. And go Orioles.

Maybe a-rod would do better on the apprentice than he does in the post season.

Trump can't perform without Viagra so he should just shut his pie hole.

Been a Yankee fan for over 60 years. Seen good years & bad years. Great players and not so great players. A-rod is the most frustrating player to watch ... a choke artist. Sure, hit homeruns when the score is 8-2 Yankees and the gopher balls are coming to the plate. But crunch time ... forget it! And he's paid what!! YGTBKM!!
Take the bum out of the line up, Joe .... grow some kahonies! If you can't beat the Orioles something's amiss in the Yankee chemistry department. I'm just sayin' ..........

FYI Mr. Trump, Alex performed great in the 2009 postseason. He was not on drugs then. He is older (37) and has been hurt (broken hand). Get some facts!

BTW, Mr. Trump inherited millions but he made his own billions. One does not get to be a billionaire by not knowing what he says.

Billionaire or not, the Donald is absolutely correct about A-Rod.

BTW, with or without PED, A-Rod has been predictably a NO-SHOW in clutch situations with the sole exception in 2009. 2012 is his worst clutch disappearing acts.

Now if only Mr. Trump can help the Yanks get rid of A-Rod with minimum monetary loss.
