C.C. Ditches The Cap'n Yet Again

C.C. Sabathia is (officially) listed at 290 pounds, but, clearly, he was a bit bulkier when he donned the pinstripes last season.

Now, looking a little more trim than he did this past October, the New York Yankees ace has a simple reason for his new look.

"No Cap’n Crunch," the 32-year-old told reporters Tuesday. "I worked out every day, just made sure I watched what I ate."

If this all sounds familiar...it should. This isn't the first time he's turned his back on the S.S. Guppy and its skipper.

Two seasons ago, when Sabathia came to camp down 25 pounds, he made the same claims about ditching the breakfast cereal. At the time, the lefty claimed to eat a "box at a time" or, 15 times the recommended serving size of the crunchy kernels.

Ouch.

There is no more excuse nowadays for anyone to be obese, especially the well-offs other than total disregard to healthy living.

CC, as well as Joba and NJ Gov. Christie won't start using their head until health issues set in
...diabetes, heart disease, hypertension, knee arthritis, etc.

Consuming sugar rich foods in such incredibly nauseating quantity is pure stupidity. NO EXCUSE. Nobody should be that dumb.

Guys, get smarter. Use your millions. Hire professionals to help you get healthier.

It's disgusting to even read that CC consumes sugar rich foods in such incredibly nauseating quantity in one sitting.

CC, as well as Joba and NJ Gov. Christie won't start using his head until consequent health issues set in.

Guys, use your millions. Hire professionals to help you get healthier...before it's too late.
